CJC-1295 without DAC

A stretch of GHRH with four modifications for stability, but without the extender that erases the pulses.

PropertyValue
TypeGHRH analogue, 29 amino acids
Other nameMod GRF 1-29
ReceptorGHRH receptor
DurationShort, in pulses
FormFreeze dried powder

What it is

GHRH is the hormone telling the pituitary to make growth hormone. Only the first 29 amino acids are needed for that. This variant consists of that stretch, with four replaced building blocks shielding it from enzymes.

How it works

Because it stays active only briefly, growth hormone is released in pulses, the way the body does it. That is not a shortcoming but the whole point: a cell receiving the same signal without pause removes receptors from its surface.

What the research shows

The literature turns mainly on release patterns and on the combination with a ghrelin peptide, because two different buttons for the same result reinforce each other.

Research status

Preclinical to early clinical.

Practical

Do not confuse this variant with the DAC version: same name, a completely different release pattern.
